Jerry Colangelo has been recognized as “Champion, Pioneer and Innovator” in Sports and Business by national and international media. He is being called “the shrewdest businessman in sports today.”

From a working class kid in a poor ethnic community “Hungry Hill” in Chicago Heights to a phenomenally successful entrepreneur, Jerry Colangelo has proven what’s possible when you dream about something and work to achieve it.

Brian Shul was born in Quantico, Virginia, in 1948. He graduated from East Carolina University in 1970 with a degree in History. That same year he joined the Air Force and attended pilot training at Reese AFB in Texas.

John Larkin joined Legg Mason* in October 2001 to form and lead the firm’s entry into the transportation markets. Mr. Larkin was recognized as an all-star analyst by Institutional Investor magazine in 2006 and as a Wall Street Journal all-star analyst 5 times, most recently for his stock picks during the year 2010. In addition, he was rated as #1 by Forbes Starmine in EPS estimate accuracy in the Road & Rail Category in 2008 and as #1 stock picker in 2003 by Forbes Starmine in both the Road & Rail and the Airfreight & Logistics categories.

George Abernathy is an accomplished logistics and supply chain management executive with more than 20 years of industry experience at both traditional and technology-based, transportation-focused providers. Before joining Transplace, he held the positions of Senior Vice President at NTE and Clicklogistics, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Logistics.com.

Tom Sanderson is CEO of Transplace. Since 2003, he has led the company to substantial success and continued growth. Under Mr. Sanderson’s leadership, Transplace launched Consulting, Freight Services, International and Mexico subsidiaries, extending the company’s comprehensive services for its customers. In addition, he has led the company to achieve dozens of industry awards.
