George Abernathy, President, Logistics, Transplace

George Abernathy is an accomplished logistics and supply chain management executive with more than 20 years of industry experience at both traditional and technology-based, transportation-focused providers. Before joining Transplace, he held the positions of Senior Vice President at NTE and Clicklogistics, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Logistics.com.

Mr. Abernathy also had senior management positions at The Sabre Group, North American Van Lines, J.B. Hunt Transport and LinkMark International. He is a frequent speaker at events, such as CSCMP and NASSTRAC, and is a member of the Board of Directors of TMCA. Mr. Abernathy studied political science at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and received his Bachelor of Arts in history from Assumption College in Worcester, MA.
